Dr. Justina Pahl
Dr. Justina Pahl is a Wyoming native who graduated high school from Ten Sleep in 1999. She attended the University of Wyoming and received her bachelor’s degree in Animal & Veterinary Sciences in 2003. She received her DVM from Colorado State in 2007. After completing a 1-year internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY, she relocated to Montana and practiced small and mixed animal medicine in the Billings/Laurel area.
Her interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery (especially cranial cruciate ligament repairs), diagnostic imaging, and preventative medicine. Justina has two stepchildren with her husband, Brian. When not at work, they enjoy golfing, traveling, and cooking.
Dr. Kristin Myers
Dr. Kristin M. Myers received her D.V.M. degree from the University of California at Davis in 2000. Prior to entering veterinary school, she earned a degree in comparative physiology and neuroscience from the University of California at San Diego. After graduation, she began practice in a multi-doctor small animal/exotic practice in Palm Springs, California. She moved to Cody in 2003. Her special interests include feline medicine, internal medicine, ultrasound, endoscopy, and bronchoscopy.
Dr. Mandy LaFevers
Dr. Amanda (Mandy) LaFevers received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2004. Prior to entering veterinary school, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from New Mexico State University in 2000. Her first practice experience was serving in a mixed animal practice in an underserved area of New Mexico near the United States/Mexico border in Silver City. After fulfilling her Western Interstate Commission of Higher Education (WICHE) service, she moved with her husband to a ranch near Cody in 2007, and she has been with Advanced Veterinary Care Center part-time since then.
Her special interests include preventative medicine, animal behavior, and promoting the human-animal bond.
Dr. Dave Pendray
Dr. Pendray has recently retired, with “retire” being a relative term. He is available for referral surgeries and consults with our team of doctors regularly. Dr. Pendray is enjoying his new-found flexibility to travel, visit family, and pursue other hobbies.
